Utilities, Utility Districts - As introduced, prohibits a utility that furnishes electricity, gas, or water, or converts solid waste into heat, fuel, or energy, from cutting off an existing service to an address in order to start a new service to the same address until the utility contacts the registered customer with the existing service and confirms the utility has the correct address and other necessary information. - Amends TCA Title 7; Title 47, Chapter 18 and Title 65.
