Abstract

Certification of law-enforcement officers; out-of-state certifications recognized; requirements. Provides that the Department of Criminal Justice Services shall recognize the out-of-state law-enforcement certification of an individual seeking employment as a law-enforcement officer in the Commonwealth subject to certain conditions.

A BILL to amend and reenact ยง 15.2-1706 of the Code of Virginia, relating to certification of law-enforcement officers; out-of-state certifications recognized; requirements.
