Roanoke, City of; amending charter, appointment of director of real estate valuation.

Abstract

Charter; City of Roanoke. Amends the charter for the City of Roanoke to allow for the appointment of the City's director of real estate valuation by city council. Currently, the director of real estate valuation is appointed by the city manager. This bill is identical to HB 2005.

An Act to amend and reenact ยงยง 8, 9, and 23, as severally amended, of Chapter 216 of the Acts of Assembly of 1952, which provided a charter for the City of Roanoke, relating to director of real estate valuation.
