Crime victim rights; notification.

Abstract

Crime victim rights; notification. Requires notification through the Virginia Statewide VINE (Victim Information and Notification Everyday) System or other similar electronic or automated system to a victim regarding the commitment or release of a defendant who was acquitted by reason of insanity. The bill contains technical amendments.

A BILL to amend and reenact ยง 19.2-11.01 of the Code of Virginia, relating to crime victim rights; notification.
