Sanctuary policies prohibited. Providesthat no locality shall adopt any ordinance, procedure, or policyintended to restrict the enforcement of federal immigration laws.The bill also requires an official in charge of a correctional facilityto transfer custody of certain persons to U.S. Immigration and CustomsEnforcement upon receipt of a detainer. Under current law, the officialmay make such transfer.
