Abstract

Elections; candidates; declaration of candidacyfor primary and write-in votes. Provides that the declarationof candidacy include a statement that if the signer's name appearson the primary ballot and he is not nominated then his name is notto be printed on the ballots for that office in the succeeding generalelection. The bill also provides that, at all elections except primaryelections, no write-in vote for any person for any office whose namehas appeared on the ballot in a primary election for the same officein the same year will be counted.
