Income tax, state; subtraction for tax, military retirement benefits, uniformed services.

Abstract

Income tax subtraction; military retirementbenefits; uniformed services. Expands the definition of "militarybenefits" to include an income tax subtraction of retirement incomereceived for service in the uniformed services of the United States,which includes the United States Armed Forces, the commissioned corpsof the National Oceanic and Atmospheric Administration, and the commissioned corps of the United States Public Health Service. Undercurrent law, the subtraction is only allowed for military retirementincome received for service in the United States Armed Forces.
