Abstract

Marijuana; criminal penalties. Modifiesseveral criminal penalties related to marijuana, imposes limits ondissemination of criminal history record information related to certainmarijuana offenses, and provides a petition process for any personwho has been sentenced to jail or to the custody of the Departmentof Corrections for a marijuana offense to seek a resentencing hearing.The bill has a delayed effective date of July 1, 2025.
