Abstract

Attorney General; Pharmacy Benefits Managerand Third-Party Administrator Oversight Work Group; report. Directsthe Attorney General to convene the Pharmacy Benefits Manager andThird-Party Administrator Oversight Work Group to examine the impactof Rutledge v. Pharmaceutical Care Management Association,141 S. Ct. 474 (2020), and to formulate legislative recommendationsfor reducing prescription drug costs, minimizing health care expenses,reducing bureaucratic impediments to affordable health care, enhancingtransparency, and improving overall health outcomes for residentsof the Commonwealth. The bill requires such work group to submit areport of its findings and recommendations to the General Assemblyby November 1, 2025.
