Abstract

Electric utilities; energy storage capacityrequirements; certain facilities. Provides that if AppalachianPower and Dominion Energy Virginia newly acquire the right to energystorage capacity from energy storage facilities located in the Commonwealththat were in operation on January 1, 2021, such energy storage capacitywill, to the extent the utility has not already contracted for accessto the newly acquired energy storage facility, count toward the utility'senergy storage capacity requirements.
