State Corporation Commission; identificationof certain provisions regarding employee welfare benefit plans; report.Directs the State Corporation Commission to identify each state statutoryand regulatory provision from which an employee welfare benefit planthat is self-insured or self-funded is exempted. The bill requiresthe Commission to survey entities providing or administering an employeewelfare benefit plan to develop an estimate of the financial impactthat would be incurred by the application of the identified statutoryand regulatory provisions to such an employee welfare benefit plan. The bill requires the Commission to report its findings to the Chairsof the House Committees on Health, Welfare and Institutions and Laborand Commerce and to the Senate Committees on Education and Healthand Commerce and Labor by October 1, 2022.
