Abstract

Prescribing controlled substances; practitioner-patientrelationship; telemedicine. Provides that a prescriber may establisha practitioner-patient relationship for the purpose of prescribingSchedule II through V controlled substances via synchronous interactionwith a patient and for the purpose of prescribing Schedule VI controlledsubstances via asynchronous interaction. The terms "synchronous interaction"and "asynchronous interaction" are defined in the bill.
