Vacant building; registration.

Abstract

Vacant building registration. Allows citiesand certain towns to require annual registration by the owners ofbuildings that have been vacant for a continuous period of 12 monthsor more and that may endanger the public health, safety, or welfare.Under current law, buildings must meet a specific definition of "derelictbuilding" before their owners can be required to register by these localities.
