Abstract

Public employees; independent bargaining.Permits independent bargaining by public employees who are employedby a county, city, or town that has adopted an ordinance or resolutionproviding for collective bargaining by public employees. The billprevents agreements between employee associations and employers fromapplying to employees who are not members of the association andstates that there shall be only one designated bargaining representativefor each collective bargaining unit in a county, city, or town thathas adopted an ordinance or resolution providing for collective bargainingby public employees.
