Public adjusters; continuing education.Provides for continuing education requirements for public adjustersand that the insurance continuing education board (the Board), appointedby the State Corporation Commission, is responsible for establishingand monitoring standards for such requirements. Currently, the Commissionis given such responsibility and the Board is responsible for thecontinuing education requirements for other insurance agents and agencies. The bill maintains the current requirement that a publicadjuster complete a minimum of 24 hours of approved credits, includingthree hours of ethics, on a biennial basis.
