Abstract

Allowing access to firearms by minors; penalty. Provides that any person who recklessly leaves a loaded, unsecuredfirearm in such a manner as to endanger the life or limb of any personunder the age of 18 is guilty of a Class 3 misdemeanor. Current lawprovides that any person who recklessly leaves a loaded, unsecuredfirearm in such a manner as to endanger the life or limb of any childunder the age of 14 is guilty of a Class 3 misdemeanor.
