Abstract

Local correctional facilities; appeals of noncompliance determinations by the State Board of Corrections. Requires theState Board of Corrections, upon determining that a local correctionalfacility is not in compliance with the minimum standards for construction,equipment, administration, or operation of local correctional facilities,to provide written notice of such determination to the local correctionalfacility. The bill allows local correctional facilities to appealsuch determinations by the Board and sets forth certain requirementsfor such appeals.
