Retail Sales and Use Tax; allocation in certain counties & cities of historic significance.

Abstract

Allocation of additional sales and use tax incertain counties and cities of historic significance for the planningand construction of a shared sports facility. Requires that theCity of Williamsburg and the Counties of James City and York eachallocate 10 percent of the revenues received from the Historic Trianglesales and use tax for the planning and construction of a shared sports facility. If the three localities do not approve the developmentof a shared sports facility by July 1, 2021, Chapter 850 of the Actsof Assembly of 2018 that created and authorized the additional salesand use tax will expire.
