Abstract

Newborn screening for Krabbe disease. Directs the Department of Health to review Krabbe disease and provide recommendations to the Board of Health regarding whether Krabbe disease should be included in newborn screening.

Newborn screening; Krabbe disease and otherlysosomal storage disorders. Requires that newborn screeningtests required to be performed on every infant born in the Commonwealthshall include screening for Krabbe disease and other lysosomal storagedisorders for which a screening test is available.
