Abstract

Workers' compensation; occupational disease presumption; emergency medical technicians. Establishes a presumption that hypertension or heart disease causing the death or disability of full-time salaried emergency medical technicians employed by the City of Virginia Beach is an occupational disease compensable under the Virginia Workers' Compensation Act.
