Abstract

Utility bills; statement of environmental lawcompliance. Requires each gas or electric utility to includeas a line item on each customer's monthly billing statement an estimateof the customer's share of the utility's costs of complying withlegislative or executive requirements related to the generation ofelectricity from specified sources, participation in regional andinterstate agreements, the purchase of generation credits, emissionsreduction requirements, and net-metering or distributed generation programs.
