Child abuse and neglect; venue may lie where alleged abuse or neglect occurred, etc.

Abstract

Provides that, for cases in juvenile and domestic relations district court involving an allegedly abused or neglected child, venue may lie in the city or county where the alleged abuse or neglect occurred in addition to the city or county where the child resides or where the child is present when the proceedings are commenced.
