Radon; VDH shall review consumer complaints regarding testing and mitigation.

Abstract

Directs the Department of Health to review consumer complaints regarding radon testing and mitigation received since 2013 and the current certification requirements for individuals performing radon testing and mitigation and to determine the benefits of any additional oversight for individuals performing radon testing and mitigation. The Department shall report its findings and any recommendations to the House Committee on Health, Welfare and Institutions and the Senate Committee on Education and Health by December 1, 2018.
