Education - As introduced, requires that persons who hold positions with independent entities that teach released time courses and who have proximity to students undergo a criminal history records check conducted by the TBI; requires LEAs to notify students' parents whether results indicate that the subject has been convicted of certain criminal offenses for which a licensed educator's license is subject to revocation with a hearing. - Amends TCA Title 49, Chapter 2; Title 49, Chapter 5 and Title 49, Chapter 6.
