Education, State Board of - As enacted, extends, from six years to eight years, the minimum period of time from the last adoption within which the board is required to ensure that the standards review and development committees and advisory teams review the standards for English language arts, mathematics, science, and social studies; extends, from 73 months to 97 months, the maximum term of a contract made by the state textbook and instructional materials quality commission with a publisher. - Amends TCA Title 49, Chapter 1 and Title 49, Chapter 6.
