Physicians and Surgeons - As introduced, prohibits a licensing board or disciplinary subcommittee from taking any adverse action against a physician's license based solely on the physician's recommendation for treatment of COVID-19 if the physician exercised independent medical judgment and the patient provided written, informed consent; prohibits a pharmacy from blocking a patient's access to the medical treatment based solely on the fact that the United States Food and Drug Administration has not approved the medical treatment for use to treat COVID-19. - Amends TCA Title 53; Title 63 and Title 68.
