Education, Dept. of - As introduced, requires the department to pay for certain background investigations conducted by the Tennessee bureau of investigation and the federal bureau of investigation for LEA employees who hold a position as a teacher or any other position requiring proximity to school children or to children in a child care program under certain circumstances. - Amends TCA Title 49, Chapter 1; Title 49, Chapter 2 and Title 49, Chapter 5.
