Education, Dept. of - As introduced, requires the department to study, in consultation with the department of health, the feasibility of requiring a student to undergo an electrocardiogram test before the student may participate in interscholastic athletics; requires the department to report the findings and recommendations from the study to the chairs of the education committees of the senate and house of representatives no later than January 1, 2020. - Amends TCA Title 49 and Title 68.
