Pooling Precincts in Municipal Elections

Abstract

A BILL TO AMEND THE SOUTH CAROLINA CODE OF LAWS BY AMENDING SECTION 7-7-1000, RELATING TO POOLING PRECINCTS IN MUNICIPAL GENERAL ELECTIONS, SO AS TO PROVIDE THAT THE TOTAL NUMBER OF REGISTERED VOTERS IN MUNICIPAL POOLED PRECINCTS MAY NOT EXCEED THREE THOUSAND; AND BY AMENDING SECTION 7-7-1000, RELATING TO POOLING PRECINCTS IN MUNICIPAL PRIMARY ELECTIONS, SO AS TO PROVIDE THAT THE TOTAL NUMBER OF REGISTERED VOTERS IN MUNICIPAL POOLED PRECINCTS MAY NOT EXCEED FIVE THOUSAND.
