Abstract

A BILL TO AMEND THE SOUTH CAROLINA CODE OF LAWS BY ADDING SECTION 44-1-175 SO AS TO PROHIBIT THE USE OF CERTAIN SYNTHETIC MRNA-BASED GENE THERAPIES BY HEALTHCARE PROFESSIONALS IN THE STATE OF SOUTH CAROLINA; TO ESTABLISH PENALTIES FOR VIOLATIONS BY HEALTHCARE PROFESSIONALS; TO REQUIRE PROFESSIONAL LICENSING BOARDS TO REPORT VIOLATIONS TO THE DEPARTMENT OF PUBLIC HEALTH; AND FOR OTHER PURPOSES.
