Abstract

A BILL TO AMEND THE SOUTH CAROLINA CODE OF LAWS BY AMENDING SECTION 30-4-40, RELATING TO MATTERS EXEMPT OR PROHIBITED FROM DISCLOSURE UNDER THE FREEDOM OF INFORMATION ACT, SO AS TO PROHIBIT THE DISCLOSURE OF RECORDINGS OF TELEPHONE CONVERSATIONS OF INMATES AND THEIR VISITORS MADE BY THE FACILITY IN WHICH THE INMATE IS INCARCERATED.
