Unfair trade practices

Abstract

A BILL TO AMEND THE SOUTH CAROLINA CODE OF LAWS BY ADDING SECTION 39-5-45 SO AS TO PROVIDE THAT A PERSON WHO ACCEPTS A CHECK FOR A DEFERRED PRESENTMENT TRANSACTION VIOLATES THE SOUTH CAROLINA UNFAIR TRADE PRACTICES ACT; AND TO REPEAL CHAPTER 39, TITLE 34 OF THE SOUTH CAROLINA CODE OF LAWS, RELATING TO DEFERRED PRESENTMENT SERVICES.
