Abstract

A BILL TO AMEND THE SOUTH CAROLINA CODE OF LAWS BY ADDING SECTION 28-2-35, SO AS TO PROVIDE THAT A PERSON OR ENTITY WITH THE POWER OF CONDEMNATION MUST HOLD A PUBLIC MEETING TO DISCLOSE THE LIKELIHOOD OF CONDEMNATION ON SURROUNDING PROPERTIES WHEN PURCHASING NEW REAL PROPERTY OR CHANGING THE USE OF REAL PROPERTY WHICH THE PERSON OR ENTITY ALREADY OWNS.
