Abstract

A HOUSE RESOLUTION TO URGE THE SOUTH CAROLINA DEPARTMENT OF HEALTH AND ENVIRONMENTAL CONTROL NOT TO ISSUE ANY PERMITS THAT WOULD DIRECTLY OR INDIRECTLY ALLOW, OR LEAD TO, THE EXCAVATION OR DREDGE DISTURBANCES OF LOW LYING MARSH AND TIDEWATERS ON OR BELOW THE CRITICAL LINE FOR THE PURPOSE OF THE MONETIZATION OF PUBLIC LANDS FOR FINANCIAL GAIN.
