Student Covid-19 vaccines

Abstract

A BILL TO AMEND SECTION 59-63-30, CODE OF LAWS OF SOUTH CAROLINA, 1976, RELATING TO QUALIFICATIONS FOR ATTENDING PUBLIC SCHOOLS, SO AS TO PROVIDE STUDENTS ARE ENTITLED TO ATTEND PUBLIC SCHOOLS REGARDLESS OF THEIR COVID-19 VACCINATION STATUS; AND TO AMEND SECTION 44-29-180, RELATING TO VACCINATION REQUIREMENTS FOR STUDENTS IMPOSED BY THE DEPARTMENT OF HEALTH AND ENVIRONMENTAL CONTROL, SO AS TO PROHIBIT THE DEPARTMENT AND PUBLIC SCHOOL DISTRICTS FROM REQUIRING COVID-19 VACCINATIONS OF STUDENTS IN K-12 PUBLIC SCHOOLS.
