Abstract

A BILL TO AMEND THE CODE OF LAWS OF SOUTH CAROLINA, 1976, BY ADDING SECTION 38-61-80 SO AS TO ESTABLISH THAT A DIRECT PRIMARY CARE AGREEMENT IS NOT A CONTRACT OF INSURANCE, TO DEFINE NECESSARY TERMS, TO ESTABLISH REQUIREMENTS FOR A DIRECT PRIMARY CARE AGREEMENT, AND TO REQUIRE A DIRECT PRIMARY CARE PROVIDER TO REPORT ITS PARTICIPATION IN A DIRECT PRIMARY CARE PRACTICE TO THE DEPARTMENT OF CONSUMER AFFAIRS.
