Abstract

A BILL TO AMEND THE CODE OF LAWS OF SOUTH CAROLINA, 1976, BY ADDING SECTION 4-9-32 SO AS TO REQUIRE COUNTY COUNCILS TO PROVIDE OFFICE SPACE AND APPROPRIATE MONIES FOR THE OPERATION OF THE COUNTY LEGISLATIVE DELEGATION OFFICE, TO REQUIRE THE APPROPRIATION TO BE INCLUDED IN THE ANNUAL COUNTY BUDGET, AND TO PROVIDE THAT THE DELEGATION IS RESPONSIBLE FOR THE EMPLOYMENT, SUPERVISION, AND DISCHARGE OF ALL PERSONNEL EMPLOYED BY THE DELEGATION.
