Workers Compensation - As introduced, creates a presumption that the diagnosis of a law enforcement officer or emergency medical responder with post-traumatic stress disorder as the result of responding to certain incidents was incurred in the line of duty for purposes of workers' compensation coverage. - Amends TCA Title 7, Chapter 51 and Title 50, Chapter 6.
Search & Seizure - As introduced, specifies that certain physical searches of students and searches of lockers, vehicles, and other property must be conducted by a school resource officer. - Amends TCA Title 49, Chapter 6.
Real Property - As introduced, changes from a preponderance of the evidence to clear and convincing evidence the burden of proof for a debtor to prove that property sold at a foreclosure sale for an amount materially less than the fair market value in order to rebut the presumption that the foreclosure sale price of the property was equal to the fair market value at the time of sale. - Amends TCA Title 35.
Firefighters - As introduced, adds prostate cancer, breast cancer, and pancreatic cancer to the list of cancers for which a presumption is created that certain conditions or impairments of full-time firefighters caused by prostate cancer, breast cancer, pancreatic cancer, or other listed cancers arose out of employment unless the contrary is shown by competent medical evidence. - Amends TCA Section 7-51-201.
