Athens - Subject to local approval, sets a term limit of three terms for members of the city council; specifies the emergency management powers of the mayor; changes references from "councilman" to "councilperson". - Amends Chapter 455 of the Private Acts of 1953; as amended.
Economic and Community Development, Dept. of - As introduced, requires the comptroller of the treasury to report to the finance, ways and means committee of the senate and the finance, ways and means committee of the house of representatives on the utilization of funds for the Tennessee job skills program, administered by the department of economic and community development, by February 1 annually. - Amends TCA Title 4; Title 6; Title 7; Title 8; Title 9; Title 49; Title 50; Title 62; Title 63; Title 67 and Title 68.
Health Care - As enacted, enacts the "Cassie Wright Act," which makes changes to law relative to a parent, legal guardian, or legal custodian having access to certain medical information of their unemancipated minor. - Amends TCA Title 33; Title 66 and Title 68.
