Highway Signs - "Representative S. Thomas Burnett Highway," segment of U.S. Highway 127 in Fentress County -
Pensions and Retirement Benefits - As introduced, makes the authorization for the state insurance committee to provide 80 percent of the scheduled premium or defined contribution for health insurance benefits to Tennessee highway patrol retirees with at least 25 years of service applicable to individuals retiring on or after January 1, 2020. - Amends TCA Title 4, Chapter 7; Title 8, Chapter 27 and Chapter 518 of the Public Acts of 2021.
Veterans - As enacted, requires an employer to allow a veteran employee to have the entirety of Veterans' Day as a non-paid holiday if certain conditions met; specifies that this act does not prohibit an employer from allowing the employer's veteran employees to have the entirety of Veterans Day as a paid holiday. - Amends TCA Title 8; Title 15; Title 50 and Title 58.
