Alcoholic Beverage Commission - As introduced, requires the commission to levy certain fines and suspend the server permit of a person for certain violations, including the sale of alcohol or beer to a person who is under 21 years of age. - Amends TCA Section 57-4-203.
Aircraft and Airports - As introduced, exempts certain motor vehicles from parking fees at airports in this state if the vehicle displays a disabled veteran or military award license plate. - Amends TCA Section 12-10-109 and Title 42.
General Assembly - As introduced, permits sergeants-at-arms to carry a handgun while in the course and scope of their duties within the legislative complex provided that they have a valid handgun carry permit; imposes a duty on the department of safety to implement a training program to train the sergeants-at-arms in all safety procedures for the legislative complex; requires a sergeant-at-arms who carries a firearm while in the course and scope of their duties to attend a firearms training course if hired on or after October 1, 2024. - Amends TCA Title 3; Title 4; Title 38 and Title 39.
