An Act amending Title 42 (Judiciary and Judicial Procedure) of the Pennsylvania Consolidated Statutes, in juvenile matters, further providing for short title and purposes of chapter, for definitions, for scope of chapter, for powers and duties of probation officers, for masters, for inspection of court files and records, for law enforcement records, for guardian ad litem for child in court proceedings, for commencement of proceedings, for transfer from criminal proceedings, for informal adjustment, for taking into custody, for release or delivery to court, for place of detention, for release from detention or commencement of proceedings, for petition, for release or holding of hearing, for conduct of hearings, for notice and hearing, for right to counsel for children in dependency and delinquency proceedings, for consent decree, for adjudication, for court-appointed special advocates, for disposition of dependent child, for disposition of delinquent child, for limitation on and change in place of commitment, for transfer to criminal proceedings, for disposition of mentally ill or mentally retarded child and for assessment of delinquent children by the State Sexual Offenders Assessment Board and providing for role of interstate compacts.
