Relating to a task force on removing barriers to jury service; and prescribing an effective date.

Abstract

Establishes the Task Force on Removing Barriers to Jury Service. Directs the task force to submit a report to the Chief Justice of the Supreme Court, the Governor and the interim committees of the Legislative Assembly related to the judiciary not later than December 15, 2026. Sunsets the task force on December 31, 2026. Takes effect on the 91st day following adjournment sine die.
