Relating to adult foster homes.

Abstract

] [Requires the Department of Human Services to study adult foster homes. Directs the department to submit findings to the interim committees of the Legislative Assembly related to health not later than September 15, 2026.] [Sunsets on January 2, 2027.] Requires the Department of Human Services to administer a pilot program to allow up to 30 adult foster homes meeting specified requirements to care for up to seven residents. Requires the department to compile data and report on the results of the pilot program to the Legislative Assembly. Directs the department to discontinue enrolling new adult foster homes into the pilot program beginning September 15, 2028. Sunsets the pilot program on January 2, 2039.
