Relating to the Oregon Vehicle Industry Board; declaring an emergency.

Abstract

Establishes the Oregon Vehicle Industry Board. Transfers the duties, functions and powers of the Department of Transportation related to the regulation of vehicle dealers and dismantlers to the Oregon Vehicle Industry Board. Becomes operative on January 1, 2026. Repeals the Oregon Dealer Advisory Committee. Becomes operative on January 1, 2028. Declares an emergency, effective on passage.
