Relating to school-based health practitioners; declaring an emergency.

Abstract

Requires the Department of Education to conduct a study to determine the appropriate number of students on a workload for a school-based health practitioner who is a speech-language pathologist, occupational therapist or physical therapist. Directs the department to report the findings to the interim committees of the Legislative Assembly related to education no later than January 5, 2026. Declares an emergency, effective on passage.
