Relating to dementia; declaring an emergency.

Abstract

Establishes Oregon Memory Net program] pilot project to provide opportunity for primary care providers to refer for memory assessment at neurologic clinic patients showing signs of cognitive decline or impairment but who have not been diagnosed with Alzheimer's disease or other forms of dementia. Requires Department of Human Services to report to Legislative Assembly by October 31, 2024, on communities served by pilot project, results of pilot project and recommendations on whether to expand pilot project. Sunsets June 30, 2025. Declares emergency, effective on passage.
