Relating to programs of all-inclusive care for the elderly; declaring an emergency.

Abstract

Requires Oregon Department of Administrative Services to conduct wage study and Department of Human Services to conduct workforce study to determine eligibility and enrollment case manager staffing levels needed to complete assessments within 20] eligibility determinations within 45 days for individuals seeking enrollment in programs for all-inclusive care for elderly , and to submit agency request budget each biennium that reflects resources needed to meet determined staffing levels]. Requires departments to report findings of studies to interim committees of Legislative Assembly related to health by January 15, 2024. Appropriates moneys from General Fund to department for hiring 15 additional full-time staff to conduct assessments.] Declares emergency, effective July 1, 2023.
