Provides for accountability and disclosure of county, town or village acquisition of land for open space, environmental and/or historic preservation purposes

Abstract

Requires the chief executive of any county, town or village which acquires an interest in land for open space, environmental and/or historic preservation purposes or park purposes, to make certain findings as to the need for such acquisition for such purposes, and such findings and documents relating thereto shall be filed with the respective county clerk, town clerk or village clerk and made available to the public for not less than 90 days.
