Revises provisions relating to work-based learning programs. (BDR 34-853)

Abstract

AN ACT relating to education; establishing statewide and regional work-based learning intermediary networks; creating the Work-Based Learning Intermediary Network Account; requiring the board of trustees of a school district or the governing body of a charter school to implement a policy to promote work-based learning programs and programs to prepare for apprenticeships; authorizing the board of trustees or the governing body to work with certain governmental and nongovernmental entities in developing and implementing the policy; authorizing the board of trustees and governing body to accept gifts, grants and donations and other forms of money to implement the policy; and providing other matters properly relating thereto.
